HobbyMart Seller Fees

HobbyMart has updated its seller fee structure. Effective immediately, HobbyMart will not charge sellers any commission on Marketplace or Auction sales until further notice.

Marketplace and Auction listings also remain free to list.

Below is the current HobbyMart seller fee structure.

Current HobbyMart Fees

Commission: FREE (0%)
There is currently no HobbyMart commission charged when an item is sold.

Marketplace Listing Fee: FREE
There is no fee to list an item for sale on the HobbyMart Marketplace.

Auction Listing Fee: FREE
There is no fee to create an auction listing on HobbyMart.

Transaction Fee: 1.5% + RM0.75 per order
A transaction fee of 1.5% + RM0.75 is charged once per order and deducted from the seller's payout.

SST is charged on the transaction fee at the prevailing rate, currently 8%.

What Does 0% Commission Mean?

Previously, sellers could be charged a commission when an item was successfully sold.

Under the current fee structure, HobbyMart's commission is 0%.

For example, whether you sell a Pokémon card through the Marketplace or successfully complete an Auction sale, HobbyMart does not deduct a percentage-based sales commission.

The applicable 1.5% + RM0.75 transaction fee per order, including SST on that fee, still applies.

Marketplace and Auction Fees

The 0% commission applies to sales made through both:

HobbyMart Marketplace — List collectibles at a fixed selling price.

HobbyMart Auctions — List collectibles for buyers to bid on.

There is currently no listing fee and no HobbyMart sales commission for either type of listing.

Why Has HobbyMart Removed Commission?

We want to make it easier for collectors and sellers in Malaysia to list, buy and sell collectibles through HobbyMart.

Removing seller commission means sellers can list items without an upfront listing fee and won't have an additional HobbyMart commission deducted when their items sell.

This applies to supported collectibles across HobbyMart, including Pokémon cards, other TCG products, graded cards, sealed products, LEGO and other collectibles.

How Long Will 0% Commission Last?

The 0% HobbyMart commission will remain in effect until further notice.

As our fee structure may change in the future, sellers should refer to Seller Fees in their Seller Dashboard Menu that is published at all time. Additionally, announcements will be made in advance should there be any change.
